Spectelle
Early access is open. Free while we build.

Video hosting that sees every second.

Spectelle streams your videos in every quality up to 4K, in a player that wears your colours, and shows you exactly which seconds held your viewers' attention.

No card. No ads in your player. Made by Beyond the Edge.

Everything in one place

Everything your videos need to do their job.

Upload once. Spectelle encodes, hosts, plays and measures, so the video on your sales page, your course or your launch works as hard as you did making it.

A player that looks like you

Your colour on every button, only the controls you want, your title over the first frame, and what happens at the end: watch again, loop, or hold the last frame.

Every quality, up to 4K

Each video is encoded into an adaptive ladder, with HDR10 and HLG kept intact. Every viewer gets the sharpest picture their screen and connection allow.

  • 4K HDRup to 20 Mbps
  • 1440p8 Mbps
  • 1080p6 Mbps
  • 720p to 360pfor phones on the go

Captions and chapters

Add captions in every language you sell in; the player picks the viewer's own. Chapters put each part of your video one click away.

Viewers become leads

Ask for an email before or during the video, and put a button on screen at the moment that matters: a checkout, a sign-up, the next lesson.

Private when it needs to be

Unlisted by default. Add a password, let only your own websites play it, or switch its share page off.

Replace a video, keep the link

Fixed a typo in the edit? Upload the new cut. Every embed, link, caption and statistic stays exactly where it was, and the old version plays until the new one is ready.

Uploads that never start over

Masters up to 50 GB upload in parts and pick up where they stopped after a dropped connection, even after closing the tab. Folders, search and filters keep the library tidy.

Analytics

See attention, not just plays.

A play only tells you someone pressed a button. Spectelle records every second of every viewing and tells the seconds that were watched from the seconds that played in a forgotten tab.

Hot where viewers watched with the tab open, the player on screen and the sound on. Cold where they drifted.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

  1. 01

    Upload the master

Drop your best export. It uploads in resumable parts, then encodes in every quality on its own.

  2. 02

    Make it yours

Choose the colour and controls, add captions and chapters, set the email gate or a button, pick the thumbnail.

  3. 03

    Share and measure

Paste the embed into any site or share the link, then watch attention arrive second by second.

Questions

Good to know.

What does early access include?

Everything on this page: uploads, encoding up to 4K, the player and its settings, captions, chapters, privacy controls and analytics, in your own private workspace. Early-access workspaces hold 2 GB, take videos up to 20 minutes and three new uploads a day.

What does it cost?

Nothing during early access, and we never ask for a card. Plans and prices come later.

Which files can I upload?

MP4, MOV (ProRes included), M4V, MKV, WebM, MXF, MPEG-TS and AVI. Send your best export: we keep the master and make every quality from it.

How good is the picture?

Every video is encoded into an adaptive ladder up to 4K, with HDR10 and HLG kept, at up to 20 Mbps for 4K HDR. The player picks the sharpest version each viewer's screen and connection can take, and switches smoothly as the connection changes.

Do you track my viewers?

Viewing sessions are anonymous by default: no cookies, no IP addresses stored, no cross-site identifiers, nothing shared with ad networks. A viewer is only named when they type their email into your player, or when your page tells the player it has their consent.

Can I take a video down?

Yes, any time. Deleting a video removes every file, caption and statistic, and its embeds stop playing.

Who makes Spectelle?

Beyond the Edge, a studio that makes films, websites and the software behind them. We built Spectelle for our own videos first.
